Prins Thomas Musikk – Ptm001lp. Format: 2 Vinyl, LP, Album. Well there's a pretty slept on jewel, this album covers a large spectrum of the electronic genre, downtempo, acid, berlin school or deep house and even some hints of electronic new age like on tracks such as "London Till Lisboa" or "Aske Hermansen", but because of its versatile and changing nature the whole thing sounds to my hears like a progressive electronic.
Prins Thomas's next album, Prins Thomas 5, will inaugurate his new Prins Thomas Musikk label in November. The press release says the Norwegian's latest full-length, which was inspired by Teenage Fanclub, a bout with Bronchitis, Plaid, American jazz guitarist Pet Metheny and homesickness on the road, "takes two steps forward and one step back. «The track consists of 2 slightly different versions of the same song patched together at the joints. It's [sic] working title was «Hvem har Brian Eno boka mi?» (that's "who has my Brian Eno book?" in English) as a reminder to myself to find out who had actually borrowed and not returned my book about Brian Eno. Anyway, the perp was found and the track retitled "Untitled".»
