ALASTOR is a groove metal thrash metal music artist. Alastor is a groove/thrash metal band formed in Kutno, Poland in 1986. They took their band name from Greek, referring to an avenging spirit or deity frequently evoked in Greek tragedy. They began as a thrash metal act, before switching to a groove sound when they reformed in 2005. Their most recent album 'Out of Anger' was released in 2012.
