Sinfonia Clásica Opus 25 ‎(7", Single).

This is a list of musical compositions by the 20th-century Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev. Symphony No. 2 in D minor, Op. 40 (1924–25). 3 in C minor, Op. 44 (1928).

Gabriel Prokofiev, London, United Kingdom.

Gabriel Prokofiev is an English hip-hop artist and turntablist based in the . whose grandfather just happens to have been Sergey Prokofiev. Prokofiev does not attempt to score points on the hip meter by disdaining the family business; on the contrary, he both embraces it and has founded the label NonClassical, the stated purpose of which is to present both non-classical and classical music, both presenting both as if it were not classical music, . free of the tuxedo, chandelier and opera glass.

Prokofiev had begun writing an E minor Cello Concerto in 1933 or early 1934, and after many delays it was finally completed and premiered in November 1938. But in 1952 Prokofiev subjected his revision to yet another going-over and unveiled it yet again (still as Opus 125) under the rubric Sinfonia concertante. Prokofiev never heard the piece in its final form, which Rostropovich introduced posthumously in Copenhagen. The work is often referred to as his Symphony-Concerto, a title promoted by the music historian Boris Schwarz as the best translation of the work’s Russian heading, which would be transliterated as Simfonia-Kontsert.
