Pulley is a Southern Californian punk rock band that made its debut in 1996. The band is known for straight-forward, hard-edged melodic punk rock. Pulley was formed upon vocalist Scott Radinsky's departure from Ten Foot Pole, brought about by that band's desire for a singer with a full-time focus on music (Radinsky was also a major-league relief pitcher and has played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, among others)

There's nothing particularly special or unique about Pulley as a band, yet the songs on this album have the capacity to evoke a smile or strike an angst-ridden cord in anyone and sometimes that's all you really want from a punk band. Let Bad Religion do the intellectual and muscial genius thing and let NOFX and The Vandals focus on being devastatingly witty and absurd, Pulley is neither, but they don't attempt to be. There are a few bland tracks on this album, (ahem Soberbeah) but most of them hit the mark by being both musically and lyrically adequate.

Album (also known as Compact Disc or Cassette depending on the format) is the fifth album by the English rock band Public Image Ltd, released on 27 January 1986. A departure from their previous releases, John Lydon was advised by trusted music producer Bill Laswell to take on an all-star cast of session and trusted musicians, including Steve Vai, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Tony Williams and Ginger Baker. The resulting album gave PiL one of its highest charting songs, "Rise".

A pulley is a wheel on an axle or shaft that is designed to support movement and change of direction of a taut cable or belt, or transfer of power between the shaft and cable or belt. In the case of a pulley supported by a frame or shell that does not transfer power to a shaft, but is used to guide the cable or exert a force, the supporting shell is called a block, and the pulley may be called a sheave.

Rattling Rust Pulley Time-Insensitive Material The hierarchy in today’s music scene has changed dramatically. Over the past decade, most of the once mighty have fallen. Many genres and sub-genres have come in and out of popularity. Never one to care about or follow trends, Pulley has become a prime example of an old fashioned, hard working, sincere punk rock band. Coming together in 1995, Pulley was often labeled a punk rock super group or a side project.
