The Enid produce a stellar performance with Live at Town Hall, Birmingham. Basically, what we get is an amazing journey in 2 parts. The first half of the concert is most of The Enid's latest album, Journey's End. Whether you're in it for the classic rock or an epic orchestral feast, this one's got both. I will tell you right now that "Malacandra" will absolutely knock your socks off.

This live recording made on April 16th 2010 is a memento of a future-changing event ushering in a new chapter for The Enid. This is how it was on the night; no airbrushing - rather an honest record of a shy self effacing and humble band giving their all to their fans. For technical reasons, this CD set contains a different mix from that on sound track of the DVD "The Enid - Live at Town Hall Birmingham". The DVD soundtrack is more dynamic, designed for a quiet listening environment)
This special one-off concert, featuring the brass and percussion of The Chandos Symphony Orchestra plus the spectacular Town Hall organ . This incredible performance includes the world premier of the stunning 2010 studio album "Journey's End" followed by a never before heard version of "Fand" featuring special guest Francis Lickerish of the original 1970s line up, in spectacular . Surround Sound.
Birmingham Town Hall is a Grade I listed concert hall and venue for popular assemblies opened in 1834 and situated in Victoria Square, Birmingham, England. The first of the monumental town halls that would come to characterise the cities of Victorian England, Birmingham Town Hall was also the first significant work of the 19th-century revival of Roman architecture, a style chosen here in the context of the highly charged radicalism of 1830s Birmingham for its republican associations
