Rwar, rwar! Best Cannibal Corpse Albums interactive top ten list at TheTopTens®. This is a great album man. I'm a huge fan of this era of Cannibal Corpse and their recent stuffs with Corpsegrinder don't appeal to me. - Black Abbath how can you think of Cannibal Corpse and not think of I C Blood or Hammer Smashed Face? Chris Barnes on this album is at his finest and at his darkest. It had such a dark and gloomy sound, and the way Chris Barnes growled the vocals was simply awesome. Definitely their best album.
The band's 13th album saw Cannibal continue their post-Kill renaissance with infernal glee. The grotesque adrenaline rush of High Velocity Impact Splatterkicks off an album of septic bangers that put most of death metal’s new guard firmly in their place. 11) Gore Obsessed (2002). A fitting moniker for the metal’s goriest sons and a highlight of their mid-career output. A nasty, downright horrible sounding album even by Cannibal’s standards. The sickening riffs seem to seep out of the speakers while the frenzied clattering of drums and brutish vocals of The Spine Splitter still evoke a troop of baboons ripping a body to pieces. 8) Eaten Back To Life (1990).
