CRS!" was released in 1983 as a 'concept album' about DDV's military service, which lasted just 9 days, from 8 till 16 december 1982. The tracks on "CRS!" are based on field recordings with concealed microphones at the Centre for Recruitment in Brussels, the Military Hospital in Neder-over-Heembeek and a rally by the "Vlaamse Militanten Orde" in Kortrijk (recorded by F. Pinckers). Additional found footage originates from audio cassettes and videotapes found in garbage cans at militaria junk markets.

DDV - CRS! (C-60 cassette + poster + paraphernalia). Explosion B-10 - Synthetic Machine Gun B-11 - Vlaamsche Leeuw  . At the first confrontation with options for the kind of duty to fulfill DDV insisted on an enrollment as fighter pilot. Instead he was sent to the Military Hospital of Neder-over-Heembeek for psychological testing and observation.

The CRS and COL signals are asynchronous to the receive clock, and are only meaningful in half-duplex mode. Carrier sense is high when transmitting, receiving, or the medium is otherwise sensed as being in use. If a collision is detected, COL also goes high while the collision persists. In addition, the MAC may weakly pull-up the COL signal, allowing the combination of COL high with CRS low (which a PHY will never produce) to serve as indication of an absent/disconnected PHY. Management signals. Main article: Management Data Input/Output.

Notes

The original package included a poster with images and pictures and various paraphernalia, including a box of shoe polish. Couldn't find an original poster anymore, so the track titles are just a wild guess of what they could have been.
