Following this album with a few years of extensive touring and preparation for the next release, Botch elevated their status within the scene (as well as outside of), and began to grab the attention of the world at large. However it wasn’t until the release of their second masterpiece (and we don’t use that term loosely) We Are the Romans, that Botch fever took hold nationally and internationally, infecting thousands and garnering the praise of music journalists far and wide. It’s been a long two years since the release of We Are the Romans and much has happened in the meantime. supported by 87 fans who also own An Anthology of Dead Ends. Aaron Turner can do no wrong.

An Anthology of Dead Ends (2002). We Are the Romans is the second and final studio album by American metalcore band Botch. A Hydra Head repressing of the vinyl was released on October 25, 2011 Contents. Botch's first show in support of We Are the Romans was the final show for the Seattle venue Rkcndy with The Blood Brothers, Playing Enemy and Kill Sadie in October 1999. The club was an all-ages venue that was being demolished to make way for a hotel. and while they're at the show, they're just hanging out with their friends.

Only for completionists (0%). Botch's 'An Anthology of Dead Ends' is the last studio recording we would get from this Tech Metal/Metalcore band because they disbanded shortly after  . The album starts out with an unapologetic bombastic explosion of guitar that lasts all of 14 seconds. But now you know what to expect, because it gets louder than this and more complex. Next you have 'Spaim', 'Japam', and 'Vietmam'.

The album itself is full of energy, and the riffs are heavy and well put together. The album has some really great moments that you would expect from a band like Botch. One of my main problems with the album is the overall length of the EP containing only 6 songs, Â one of which is only 14 seconds long. Overall this album clocks in at about 21 minutes. But overall it doesn't take away to much from the album, considering it is very consistent and well structured.

Each song has so much energy and the . will leave you dumbfounded in amazement. Dave Knudson's guitar work is superlative to all of Botch's previous work. Although I'm not sure what is up with.
