The Very Best of Stan Rogers. It is not enough to say that I was impressed. I was, quite simply, blown away. Briefly, Stan Rogers was a Canadian folk singer who died in 1983 in a plane crash at the young age of 34. His music still apparently remains very popular in Canada. His crystal-clear baritone and flawless execution never seems to waver; whether singing a capella with a supporting group or by himself with instrumental support (guitar, violin).

Album · 2011 · 16 Songs. From Coffee House To Concert Hall.

A postcard from a friend from way-back one felt one had lost touch with; a tax rebate; an all-clear after a medical test. But best of all, an album like this.
