Night Ranger, like many bands on CMC International, were simply playing for the fans in the '90s. They knew that they would never have a hit like "Sister Christian" ever again, but they wanted to continue making music, and there were enough fans out there to go to their concerts. Records or new songs, as it turned out, were a necessary byproduct of these concerts, and like the shows themselves, they were exercises in nostalgia since no one, outside of CMC artists, makes album-oriented rock like this anymore. Night Ranger's first two stabs at comeback records - Feeding off.

Seven is the eighth studio album by Night Ranger, released on July 14, 1998. All original members are present on this follow-up to 1997's Neverland. Tommy Shaw of Styx fame co-wrote the track "Kong" with Jack Blades. Two singles were released. Sign Of The Times" being the first and "Kong" being the second. It is rumored that Jeff Watson participated very little in the writing and recording of this album due to a water skiing accident.

Neverland (Night Ranger album). Neverland is the seventh studio album by Night Ranger, released on July 22, 1997. This album featured a reunion of all five original bandmembers and marked the first time they recorded together in a decade (Fitzgerald had left the band in 1987, prior to the band's Man in Motion album from 1988). New York Time" was the first single/video released in Japan.

Night Ranger Format: Audio Cassette. I could not call this a better album than Night Ranger's two previous albums, the amazing first release "Dawn Patrol" and the huge follow-up "Midnight Madness". While those are slightly more classic albums start to finish, this one is very close. This third album by this fantastic band marked the last time they would have top 40 singles-truly a shame considering that they have released fine material since as well.
