Walkaway is a song for a wonderful day in early summer, driving through the country with the windows all the way down and forgetting all of your troubles in another life. A song for moving on and starting again. It's so easy-going and good-natured, I love it. This Single edit runs at 3:36, a full 15 seconds shorter than the Album edit, which is a little annoying since there is space on Side A for it. The extended opening is missing, but, to make up for it, this is also an enhanced edit which strings that bring a wider orchestral feel to the track. There is a BBC Sessions edit out there that runs 4:22 but it's got a rougher sound and I don't like it much.
