Here’s the thing: I always have a dèja vú that I saw this video where Damon’s in a interview with Alex (or Graham) - is not the whole band. And he gets annoyed and distracted and goes for this cup that is on table and starts to play with it until he puts in his head. DAMON ALBARN on the cover of the Italian Rolling Stone, talking about his solo album Everyday Robots, Blur, Gorillaz, Britpop and the 90s. Interview by Marco Mancassola, photos by Mattia Zoppellaro, April 2014.

Genre: Alternative Rock. While 13 is amazing, I just connect to this album a lot more than I do with 13. 13 is flawless, but this is perfectly flawless. Like with 13 I grew up with this album, the cover alone makes me feel so many emotions. Every song on here is perfectly made and crafted, and I adore it all. Blur made a masterpiece with 13, but a magnum opus with Blur. Favourite Tracks: All of them.

Blur are an English rock band, formed in London in 1988. The group consists of singer/keyboardist Damon Albarn, guitarist/singer Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree. Their debut album Leisure (1991) incorporated the sounds of Madchester and shoegazing. Following a stylistic change influenced by English guitar pop groups such as the Kinks, the Beatles and XTC, Blur released Modern Life Is Rubbish (1993), Parklife (1994) and The Great Escape (1995).
