User reviews
If you can put your inhibitions aside you may be surprised at how good this is. Many ‘purists’ (sic ‘snobs’) scoffed at The Time Frequency, and still do today, mainly because they chose to ply their trade via the rave scene. However ‘Real Love’ managed to retain the optimistic energy and hard techno sounds of rave music while mixing in a good understanding of song structure to create an accessible tune that also proved to be a chart crossover success. The atmosphere of The Time Frequency’s live performances (apparently quite good) is captured on ‘Retribution’, one of their most popular songs. More importantly, the Dream Frequency’s remix was picked up by credible house DJ’s and clubs, and was even championed by Pete Tong’s Essential Selection, back when Pete’s Friday night show was the ONLY place on national UK radio to hear the latest dance music.
