The 2013 Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts was held from 26–30 June 2013. It followed a fallow year, in which there was no festival. On 20 June 2012 it was announced that tickets for the 2013 festival would go on sale at 9 am on Sunday 7 October 2012. All 135,000 tickets were sold in a record 1 hour and 40 minutes. The Arctic Monkeys headlined on the Pyramid stage on the Friday night. The Rolling Stones made their Glastonbury debut, headlining on the Saturday.

Cassius’ Philippe Zdar Dies Following Fall From Paris Building. Elvis Costello has revealed both the cover and the tracklisting of his new album, Look Now, which is slated for release on 12 October through Verve/Decca in the UK and Concord in the US. The record features his long-time backing band the Imposters – which includes Steve Nieve and Pete Thomas from Costello’s original backing band, the Attractions. It’s his first full-length album since Wise Up Ghost, his 2013 collaboration with The Roots and his first with The Imposters since 2008’s Momofuku. Look Now was co-produced by Costello and Latin Grammys winner Sebastian Krys.

Elvis Costello has announced a 20 date tour to launch in November, for an upcoming album with The Imposters. While the album's release date and official title have yet to be announced, details are "imminent," according to Concord Records. The new album will be Costello's first since 2010's National Ransom.
