El Nino de Ronda, a flamenco singer from Ronda, Spain, was found and recorded by Alan Brown of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in 1955, as an illustration of flamenco that was more authentic than the fare usually presented to tourists. Accompanied only by guitarist Carretero, Nino recorded material for Brown that ended up on the release The Real Flamenco. It's fine from-the-gut flamenco, sparer in arrangement than most other recordings of the style (even those from the era that also appeared on the Tradition label), putting Nino's searing, trembling voice to the forefront

Without leaving the beautiful city of Ronda and in just one hour our Flamenco show will allow you to travel through Andalusia knowing the most genuine essence of our culture, FLAMENCO. Our little city is very compact and in fact from arriving in Ronda, to seeing the Real Maestranza bullring, the Puente Nuevo and El Tajo gorge, the many beautiful churches, our museums, or the wonderful coffee shops and tapas bars, we have it all within a short 30 minute walk. If you're only in Ronda for one day be sure to read our Michelle Obama tour of Ronda, but if you're likely to be here for two days or more, then our most popular walks include the walk to the Virgen de la Cabeza, or Mr Henderson's Railway Walk
