Crowbar is the second studio album by New Orleans sludge metal band Crowbar, released on October 12, 1993. The album sold 100,000 copies on the now defunct independent label Pavement Music. The singles "All I Had (I Gave)" and "Existence Is Punishment" were played on MTV and received international attention. Crowbar was produced by Phil Anselmo, a childhood friend of Crowbar's founder Kirk Windstein and the singer of Pantera, and recorded in New Orleans in 1992.

Broken Glass was a British rock band active in 1975. It was formed by guitarist Stan Webb. The band released one album. Stan Webb was in the blues band Chicken Shack, but decided to form Broken Glass after playing with blues band Savoy Brown. The new band formed with Robbie Blunt on guitar, Rob Rawlinson on bass, Mac Poole on drums, and Miller Anderson on guitar.

Crowbar's 1996 effort, Broken Glass, has absolutely zero subtlety. For a modest 38 minutes, this album beats, strangles, and pummels you into oblivion. Crowbar have possibly the heaviest guitar tone in existence-every chord feels heavier than the last, and the production puts it right into your ear until you feel like your head is going to explode. The album's three best tracks come right out of the gate

Like Broken Glass Lyrics. To the nines Prepare myself for drowning Anytime I made my own world Losing it I rob myself of everything Destroying my body and my mind will fail. I'm drawn to the sound of broken glass Drawn to the taste of broken glass Stillborn again. Enemy I see my own reflection Look at me I made my own wounds Live alone Survive in isolation Poison my body and my mind will fail. Like Broken Glass" Track Info. Written By Kirk Windstein & Crowbar. Record Labels Candlelight Records & Pavement Entertainment

If anyone has a copy on vinyl, please message me. Either color. Thank you.
Anyone know why is this blocked? I've been after a copy of this pressing for quite some time.
I have the Obedience Thru Suffering that also came out on Emetic a few years ago, as well as the Back on Black edition of Lifesblood, and I reached out to Kirk Windstein on Facebook about both. He said Lifesblood on Back on Black is officially licenced to them to do a vinyl edition, but Emetic put out Obedience (and I’m assuming Broken Glass and whatever else) without his input and without an agreement in place, therefore it might be considered a bootleg? He told me he is proud of the music on it, but had nothing to do with any vinyl editions on Emetic and therefore does not advocate people buy them, and people should wait until the legal stuff is ironed out so he can contribute to a proper release.
Literally JUST noticed that it was like this. No idea why and I wish it would get fixed ASAP.
Is this a bootleg? Any idea why this is blocked?
Very confused on this one as well.. this release didn't used to be blocked.
this is not a bootleg, i am also wondering why it is blocked. did this mistakenly get reported as racist or something?
I'm a little disappointed with this release. Doesn't sound that great.
