The only reason i bought it was because the record store was out of copies of pleasure to kill, and Terrible Certainty was all they had left. So i bought is in dissipointment, only to find that Terrible Certainty was even better than pleasue to kill, with superior gutair work, while still have the extreme speed of the previous album. Im proud to own this masterpeice. Meatplow May 29th 2010.

Kreator dialed in their modern thrash on Terrible Certainty, the group's third full-length offering. One of the most highly anticipated European metal records of the decade, this 1987 release proves that the previous year's hit, Pleasure to Kill, wasn't a fluke, and that Kreator was capable of delivering under pressure. The German outfit cranks up the technical difficulty on Terrible Certainty, executing the tightest performances of their career while maneuvering around some extremely difficult, yet memorable riffs

Slowly you're dying From this contagious disease Once you're infected there's no hope of a cure Your passing is a sure thing Your thoughts are empty and hopeless Nothing is left for you now Having to live with this terrible certainty Praying is all you can do. It's vicious and crippling and slowly your life will end But how long will it take to save us from the plague With fatal convulsions the plague is reaching for us God knows!
