We Can't Be Stopped is the third studio album by Geto Boys, released on July 9, 1991. It was among their most successful records in terms of units sold. The album is analysed track-by-track by Geto Boys in Brian Coleman's book Check the Technique. We Can't Be Stopped was certified Platinum in early 1992. We Can't Be Stopped took only a few weeks to record. During the recording of the album, DJ Ready Red, one of the original Geto Boys members, left the group for personal reasons.
The Geto Boys is a remix album by the Geto Boys released in 1990. The album contains one track from the group’s debut album Making Trouble (1988), 10 from its previous album Grip It! On That Other Level (1989), and two new songs. All tracks on the album were re-recorded, remixed and revamped by acclaimed producer Rick Rubin with his protégé Brendan O'Brien. The cover of the album resembles The Beatles' album Let It Be, and the songs attracted much controversy upon the album’s release.
The beat, originally made for a Scarface solo album, samples Isaac Hayes' Hung Up on my Baby, which itself was featured in the blaxploitation film The Three Tough Guys. Ain’t With Being Broke (Radio Version). Mind Playing Tricks on Me (Clean).

All this drama of East Coast rap versus West Coast made it difficult for rappers outside of those two areas to be recognized. Face has picked up a couple lbs since '91.
