Little Red-Riding-Hood (Gustave Dore). Related to Fairy tales, Gustave Dore, Miss Mulock, The Fairy Book. From The Fairy Book by Miss Mulock Illustrations by Gustave Dore. Well, said the wolf, I will go there also, to inquire after your excellent grandmother; I will go one way, and you the other, and we will see who can be there first. S o he ran as fast as ever he could, taking the shortest road, but the little maiden took the longest; for she stopped to pluck roses in the wood, to chase butterflies, and gather nosegays of the prettiest flowers she could find – she was such a happy and innocent little soul. S o Little Red-Riding-Hood pulled the string and the door opened. The wolf, seeing her enter, hid himself as much as he could under the cover-lid of the bed, and said in a whisper, Put the cake and the pot of butter on the shelf, and then make haste and come to bed, for it is very late.

09-07-2019 Fairy tale: Little Red Riding Hood - Grimm. Once upon a time there was a sweet little girl. Everyone who saw her liked her, but most of all her grandmother, who did not know what to give the child next. Once she gave her a little cap made of red velvet. Because it suited her so well, and she wanted to wear it all the time, she came to be known as Little Red Riding Hood. One day her mother said to her: Come Little Red Riding Hood. Please send them to infomstories. The princess and the pea . Andersen →. Little Red Riding Hood Fairy tale. When Little Red Riding Hood entered the woods a wolf came up to her. She did not know what a wicked animal he was, and was not afraid of him. "Good day to you, Little Red Riding Hood. "Where are you going so early, Little Red Riding Hood?"

Little Red Riding Hood" is a European fairy tale about a young girl and a Big Bad Wolf. Its origins can be traced back to the 10th century by several European folk tales, including one from Italy called The False Grandmother (Italian: La finta nonna), later written among others by Italo Calvino in the Italian Folktales collection; the best known versions were written by Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm.

Artist: Disneyland Records. Title: The Story of Little Red Riding Hood.

Little Red Riding Hood’s full story is pretty dark. Unlike the modern version, where a naive and trusting girl who can't tell the difference between a wolf and her grandmother escapes in the end, in most older versions, Red is eaten alive. And that’s only the beginning of the horrible things that happen in "Little Red Riding Hood  . But the story of Little Red Riding Hood had much deeper roots, and it went through a number of versions. Even after Perrault’s French version, the story spread to Germany and England, carried by French refugees of the Wars of Religion and later conflicts, until the Brothers Grimm wrote it down again in the 19th century.

Little Red Riding Hood (the adult's version) I've visited grandma about a gazillion times and never anything happened. Ruby grabbed the basket with some presents for her grandmother and left the house. Waving one last time she headed towards the forest and sighed. She was already 18 years old, but her mother seemed not to realise it.
