Watson released his disc Throats - with vocalists Makigami Koichi and Shelley Hirsch - on Ecstatic Peace; and a double CD Fingering an Idea, on Phill Niblock's XI Records to critical acclaim. Together with Tony Buck and Ranaldo he formed the band Glacial. In 2010 Ranaldo released the solo album Maelstrom From Drift on Three Lobed Recordings with guest appearances of Tony Buck and David Watson. The band released On Jones Beach In 2012. Shelley Hirsch has been played on NTS shows including PAN, with Pneumothorax first played on 5 December 2016. Vocalist Shelley Hirsch composes, improvises, and stages musical works in venues all over North America and Europe. She was born in East New York, Brooklyn, in 1952, and lived there until the age of 17. A three time artist-in-residence at STEIM (Amsterdam) and at Harvestworks/Studio PASS in New York, she also lived and worked in Berlin due to a DAAD fellowship. David Weinstein (musician).

He has had projects with vocalists Shelley Hirsch and Makigami Koichi, The Afternoon Saints (a group project with Lee Ranaldo, Christian Marclay and Günter Muller) and Glacial, (with Lee Ranaldo and Tony Buck). He has written experimental pieces for traditional pipe-bands, and Phill Niblock created the piece Bag using his sounds. He organizes the WORK series. Chen plays guitar in the band 75 Dollar Bill and has been an energetic improviser and organizer in New York City for the last decade
