Alice in Chains (occasionally informally referred to as The Dog Album, The Dog Record, and Tripod) is the self-titled third studio album by the American rock band Alice in Chains. It was released on November 7, 1995, and was the follow-up to the highly successful Dirt. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and stayed on the chart for 46 weeks. Grind", "Heaven Beside You" and "Again" were released as singles.
Again" is a song by American rock band Alice in Chains and the third single and sixth track from their self-titled 1995 album. It peaked at No. 8 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 1997. The song was included on the compilation albums Nothing Safe: Best of the Box (1999), Greatest Hits (2001), and The Essential Alice in Chains (2006). A remixed version of the song was included on the box set Music Bank (1999).
Alice in Chains hasn't started writing or set firm recording plans for a followup to 2009's "Black Gives Way to Blue," the group's first new release in 14 years. But as the group prepares to embark on its fall BlackDiamondSkye tour, singer and guitarist William DuVall tells Billboard. com he can't imagine that there won't be another album. It would be fairly safe to say that you don't come this far and do all this work just to stop for another 15 years," says DuVall, who joined the band for its 2006 resurrection
Alice in Chains have stayed somewhat low since wrapping up the promo cycle for their previous album. Back in August 2017, guitarist Jerry Cantrell confirmed to Eddie Trunk that new music was being worked on, saying: "We're in the process of cobbling together some tunes, and hopefully in the very near future we'll have something out for you guys. While we're waiting for fresh stuff, you can revisit the " Hollow " single off "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here" in the embedded player below.

Alice in Chains came out of the early '90s grunge scene that included Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden. Their debut album, Facelift, was released in 1990 but didn't pick up steam until a year later, thanks to "Man In The Bo. Because there were no grunge arena headliners, they had to open for bands like Van Halen, Anthrax and Poison. Staley died of a heroin overdose in 2002. Cantrell and Staley met at the Seattle warehouse rehearsal space, the Music Bank. This would later be the name of a 4-CD set released by the group
Alice in chains have always been a bit too metal for me. This is my favourite followed by Down in a Hole and Man in a Box - Tamasa1316 yeah, it's just the best. I grew up listening to this album and every time this song came on I couldn’t help but belt out the lyrics.
