UK experimental institution Touch is now out with a split album from Biosphere and Deathprod, titled Stator. The two Norwegian artists have been producing ambient and other abstract musical forms on their own for well over two decades. Biosphere, real name Geir Jenssen, is likely known best for his classic 1997 album Substrata, though he's put out more than a dozen LPs since then, including many for Touch and his own label Biophon  . arne nordheim - deathprod. Arne Nordheim has enjoyed relative success, at least in his native Norway, as a composer, but his early electronic music remained largely ignored. One of Rune Grammofon's first projects upon its inception was to release a collection of his electronic works from the late '60s under the title Electric. The key word is in the title: transformed. Biosphere and Deathprod don't merely remix pieces like "Colorazione" and "Warszawa"; they have dusted them down and given them a whole new treatment. But under the hands of these two they fade away completely.

Deathprod is the musical pseudonym used by Norwegian artist Helge Sten for his ambient music project. Posts About Deathprod. lt;p

Deathprod is a musical pseudonym used sometimes by Helge Sten from Røros, Norway for his ambient-influenced music. Sten began creating music under this name starting in 1991, culminating with a box set of most of his recorded work being released in 2004. In 2004, he released his fourth and final album, Morals and Dogma. He has also worked with Biosphere on an Arne Nordheim tribute album called Nordheim Transformed. He is a member of Supersilent and works as a producer on many releases on the Norwegian label Rune Grammofon. He has also produced Motorpsycho. Sten also did the mixing of the album "PB" by the Norwegian artist Per Bergersen.
