Crvena Jabuka began working on this album over the summer of 1986, a while before their first concert and the tragic incident. In that time, Ricl and rhythm guitarist/primary lyricist Zlatko Arslanagic had a few demos of some potential songs to appear on the album. The demos were leaked online in the last quarter of 2011 - twenty-five years to the day when the two aforementioned members died. The album also had a working name of "Uzmi me Kad Hoces Ti" (Take me When You Want To), which in the end was recycled for their first live album in 1990

Live (Crvena jabuka album). Live is the title of the second live album recorded and released by Sarajevo-based pop band Crvena jabuka. It was recorded during a 1997 concert at Dom Sportova in Zagreb, not to be confused with the Uzmi me (kad hoćeš ti), album recorded at the Zagreb Sports Arena in 1989. The album contains two new tracks from U tvojim očima, "Bijeli Božić" and "Sad je srce stijena". On "Bijeli Božić" there is a guest appearance by Plavi orkestar member Saša Lošić.

Uzmi me (kad hoćeš ti) is a live double album by the Bosnian band Crvena jabuka. The album was recorded during a 1989 tour of the promotion of their fourth studio album Tamo gdje ljubav počinje. It was released in 1990 one year after the concert at the Zagreb Sports Arena. One single on this album is the song "Bacila je sve niz rijeku" which was originally done by Sarajevo band Indexi.

Crvena jabuka ("Red apple") is a Bosnian rock/pop band that originated in 1985, and since then has remained very popular. They were also a part of the New Primitives movement that occurred in the 1980s in the Former Yugoslavia territory. Crvena Jabuka has undergone many lineup changes through the years, and the only member to last in every lineup is Dražen Žerić. On 4 July 2017, drummer Darko Jelčić left the band. He is the second longest-standing member of Crvena Jabuka, playing in every album until 2017. He was replaced with Adrian Borić. The most significant concert was at the Zagreb Sports Arena, where Crvena Jabuka recorded their first live album Uzmi me (kad hoćeš ti). This album features the band in its concert lineup at that time, and it was the first album to be produced by Nikša Bratoš.
