This song is by Naked Eyes and appears on the album Burning Bridges (1983). Just the other day, I heard somebody say"Life is getting out of hand"And I feel inclined, to take another lineChange my ways, a different plan. Burning bridges as you pass,You find yourself alone at lone at lastAll your enemies are conqueredIs your life the one you wanted?

I owned it on LP which included the original version of Promises, Promises which can be found on this CD. I also had the cassette version of Naked Eyes which had the 7" single version of Promises, Promises which is also included on this CD as a bonus track. When I first read about the reissue of Burning Bridges on CD I got very excited. Once and for all I will have all the tracks from the Naked Eyes Lp on CD. The excitement was short lived however
