Camper Van Beethoven is an American rock band formed in Redlands, California in 1983 and later located in Santa Cruz and San Francisco. Their style mixes elements of pop, ska, punk rock, folk, alternative country, and world music. The band initially polarized audiences within the hardcore punk scene of California's Inland Empire before finding wider acceptance and, eventually, an international audience.

I and II is the second album released by Camper Van Beethoven. Dustpan and We're a Bad Trip are standouts, but the album may have too many great songs to name them all here. Alls I can say is that this is a fine record for any fan of the band or of unique music. I have to say I bought this album becuase I'm a big fan of cracker if you like cracker you will love ths album, if you lik folk and country music you wil like this albumb if you just want to hear something different then the crap thats played on todays radio then you should all love this album it's very.

Camper Van Beethoven is a 1986 album by musical group Camper Van Beethoven, released on Pitch-A-Tent. With the six then CVB members joined in the studio by acid-folk eccentric Eugene Chadbourne, the album is arguably the zenith of the band's musical experimentation, with surreal lyrics, backwards, sped-up and slowed down parts; the entire track "Stairway To Heavan" is itself a musical palindrome.

Titling a second album II & III and sprinkling it with songs titled "ZZ Top Goes to Egypt" and "No Kruggerands for David" sounds more like a parody of rock rather than rock itself. That never stopped Pavement, though, and on II & III, CVB sounds as inventive and unexpectedly inspired as before, mashing its influences together into a delightful brew. However, this time the band sounds a touch more straightforward; new member Chris Pederson's drumming sounds stronger, providing a good pace throughout and pumping up the energy on "Down And Ou.
