I Need A Haircut, the third studio album by American hip hop artist Biz Markie, was released on August 27th, 1991. The album had a little bit of success, reaching the spot on the Billboard 200, and the spot on the Top R&B/ Hip Hop albums chart. The album changed the hip hop industry forever when Biz was served a lawsuit for the sampling of Alone Again (Naturally) by Gilbert O'Sullivan on the track Alone Again. Biz made fun of this situation on by titling his next album All Samples Cleared.

Indeed, rap doesn't get much sillier than ". Toilet Stool Rap)" and "Kung F. The Brooklyn native's third album also contains "Alone Again," the song that incorporated Gilbert O'Sullivan's pop hit "Alone Again Naturally" (allegedly without the pop singer's permission) and inspired a major lawsuit.

Although not as strong as "Goin Off" or "The Diabolical Biz Markie", Biz still delivered with the humor and rhymes. It's also important to mention, this album made it hard for other artists to sample based on the song "Alone Again".

Biz Markie – I Need A Haircut. Label: Cold Chillin' – PRO-A-5179, Warner Bros. Biz bein' Biz. A pretty decent album with a few standouts. Let Go My Eggo" is nice, "What Comes Around Goes Around" is decent and makes sense as a single, personally I really love "Buck Wild" and "Kung Fu" off side 2. There are a few uninspired by-the-numbers filler songs, though. And although "Toilet Stool Rap" probably seemed like a good idea to the Biz at the time, it is never a good idea to rap about diarrhea. Just don't do it. Who made that song a single?
Biz Markie, a rapper signed to Warner Bros Records, had sampled a portion of the music from the song "Alone Again Naturally" by singer/songwriter Gilbert O'Sullivan, for use in "Alone Again", a track from Markie's third album, I Need a Haircut Biz Markie and his production and recording companies were listed as co-defendants with Warner Bros in the subsequent.
